The Pilot-RC Slick 89″ is a new-generation large-scale aerobatic RC airplane designed for pilots who want an exceptional combination of precision, agility, stability and extreme 3D performance.

Building on the proven flight characteristics of the highly popular Pilot-RC Laser, the new Slick takes agility and precision even further. The Slick is designed to feel precise and responsive while retaining the smooth and predictable flying characteristics that Pilot-RC models are known for.

With its 2.26m wingspan, carbon-reinforced construction and compatibility with powerful twin-cylinder engines such as the GP76, DLE 60 and D70, the Slick is built for demanding aerobatic and 3D flying.

The aerodynamic design provides excellent control authority at both high and low speeds, making the Slick suitable for everything from precise aerobatics and IMAC-style manoeuvres to aggressive 3D flying, including rolling harriers, waterfalls, elevators, knife-edge manoeuvres and other high-alpha manoeuvres.

The Slick also features several innovative quick-assembly systems, making transportation and field assembly considerably easier.

Center of Gravity

The recommended Center of Gravity (CG) is:

191 mm behind the leading edge of the wing, measured at the fuselage.

A laser-engraved CG marking is located inside the fuselage near the wing tube. This marking indicates the exact recommended CG position, making setup easier and more accurate.

Always check the CG before the first flight and after making significant changes to the engine, exhaust system, batteries or other equipment.

Extension Wire Lengths

The required extension wire lengths are designed to allow the servos to connect directly to the receiver:

The 25 cm aileron extensions are intended to reach the receiver directly, while the longer 120 cm extensions are used for the elevator and rudder connections.
